Natural Nourishment for Your Face
Reflexology is an ancient Chinese holistic therapy that brings balance to the mind and body by stimulating various points, or reflexes, on the face, neck and scalp. When gentle pressure is applied, reflexology helps soothe the nervous system and bring vitality to the muscles, skin and connective tissue in these areas. Clients often fall asleep and enter a state of deep relaxation.
This 50 min treatment includes traditional reflexology, gua sha, jade roller, facial cups and acu-pen stimulation. These will be reviewed during your initial visit and you can of course tailor your treatment to include/omit any aspects. All treatments take place at the Ballyneety Hub, just outside Limerick City.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR TREATMENT
A reflexology treatment is performed with you lying down. As the treatment extends to the collar bone, you will be asked to remove your top before your treatment (keeping bra/vest on) to protect your clothing from oil. I will ensure you are comfortable in my cosy therapy space. Reflexology is deeply relaxing and helps restore and rebalance all your body systems, including your nervous system.
Products used: Soothing rosehip facial oil and serum by Obus. Rosewater mist by Atlantic Aromatics. (Alternative oils are available in case of sensitivities)
CHECK WITH YOUR INSURANCE
You may be able to claim back some or all of the cost of your treatment. Check your insurance policy and if you can, I am more than happy to issue you a receipt.

In most cases, yes. If you are sensitive to products, we can always work around that and use the most gentle of oils. The pressure applied to the skin is tailored to your needs and my goal is to always ensure you are comfortable. If your skin is very dry, cracked or you have psoriasis/eczema, I would avoid treating over particularly inflamed areas.
The products used during the treatment contain the following: rosa moschata seed oil, tocopheral, helianthus, annuus seed oil (in Rosehip Facial Oil), grapeseed oil, vitamin E, kiwi seed oil, thistle oil, evening primrose oil, Q10, rosemary anti-oxidant (in Rosehip Serum) and rose water mist.

No. I will avoid treating over any areas that are inflamed. Reflexology is a treatment that supports hormone production, lymphatic drainage, removes heat (think inflamed acne) and promotes body balance. This treatment can help reduce acne and bring relief for the skin.

Yes! I'm a trained maternity reflexologist so your treatment can be tailored to support any bothersome pregnancy symptoms. Reflexology also supports hormone production, which can assist with the labour process.
