The next set of classes is January 14th- February 11th. Tuesdays from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Urban Co-Op, Limerick. €249 investment
Join this progressive series of classes which are focused on helping you prepare for your best birth possible. Each class will begin with an hour of antenatal yoga followed by hypnobirthing education. Each session focuses on a different labour topic, ensuring you feel confident and prepared for any path labour takes. You will leave each class with information you can share with your birth partner.
Following our time together, you and your birth partner will have a two hour private one:one antenatal education session with me! This is a great time to review any birth topics, chat about what postpartum and newborn care may look like and explore any sensitive topics or fears. Your birth partner (significant other, sister, mom, friend, etc.) will also learn practical hands-on comfort measures which can be utilised during labour.
Topics Covered During Class:
What hypnobirthing is and how it can help you have a positive birth
The stages of labour, including physiological changes
The role of hormones
Breathing techniques, visualisations and mindfulness

Su, fourth time mom
“I have to thank Michelle for the lovely yoga classes I attended. What got me through this labour was definitely repeating with each contraction “birth is powerful and so am I.” It was a game changer for me and I’m so grateful. Thanks so much!”
Aoife, first time mom
“I am so thankful I had done Michelle’s yoga classes before my birth in November. The breathing tips and techniques helped me so much to stay calm and in the zone during my c-section. And because of this it was such an amazing experience.”
FAQs
-
Some people prefer to wait until they are 12 weeks to start classes, but you are welcome to join any time. This is a personal decision that you get to make. Many people also continue classes until birth, so there is no time you need to stop. As long as you are comfortable and not feeling pain or strain, it is fine to continue.
-
Absolutely! My classes are tailored for individual needs. Beginners are always welcome and you will learn everything you need to know so you feel comfortable and are practicing safely.
-
The only things you need to bring to class are a yoga mat, one blanket and water to stay hydrated. I provide all other props required for class.
-
There are some injuries that can prevent people from practicing yoga. Please contact me with any questions, as I assess this on an individual basis. When in doubt, always ask your medical provider if yoga is a good option for you. If you are experiencing severe pelvic girdle pain, please contact me before booking so we can have a chat.
